New Peugeot LANDTREK: live bigger
The brand is modernizing its PEUGEOT LANDTREK pick-up, strengthening its international presence, particularly in Africa, the Middle East and South America.
The new PEUGEOT LANDTREK benefits from a muscular design, a new 2.2 l 200 hp Multijet Diesel engine and new technologies for efficiency and safety.
ALLURE: An ever more powerful and contemporary design.
EMOTION: A seductive on-board experience.
EXCELLENCE: A new 2.2 l 200 hp Multijet Diesel engine combined with a permanent 4-wheel drive transmission.
Launched in 2020, the PEUGEOT LANDTREK is the heir to a long tradition of PEUGEOT pick-ups, from the PEUGEOT 202 of 1938, through the 404 of the 60s or the 504 of the 70s.
The PEUGEOT LANDTREK occupies the one-ton pick-up segment, which represents 2.5 million annual sales worldwide. It is marketed in around 40 countries, mainly in Africa, the Middle East and South America.
The new PEUGEOT LANDTREK meets all needs thanks to its wide range of engines, its three possible basic configurations (chassis cab, single cab, double cab) and its versions for professional or multi-purpose use (leisure and professional).
The new PEUGEOT LANDTREK is based on the qualities that have made this model successful – a large capacity tipper, advanced modularity, a high level of comfort – and receives a brand new 2.2 l 200 hp Multijet Diesel engine, particularly powerful, as well as numerous developments in terms of design and technology.
ALLURE: THE STRENGTH OF MODERNITY
More assertive than ever, the new PEUGEOT design identity applies to the entire range, including commercial vehicles and now the new PEUGEOT LANDTREK pick-up.
A powerful exterior design
The new PEUGEOT LANDTREK benefits from a new vertical grille, incorporating the brand new PEUGEOT emblem in its center. This grille is equipped with sophisticated LED daytime running lights, in the shape of the Brand’s emblematic claws, thus offering a distinctive and techy lighting signature.
The design is dedicated to efficiency and robustness with a reinforced bumper in its lower part which, moreover, incorporates new glossy black trims housing the fog lights.
Style and protection are also combined at the rear with a new bumper. Between the LED rear lights with 3D effect, the design of the rear door of the dump body is modernized thanks to the new lettering of the PEUGEOT branding.
The wheel centers, in the shape of a star, integrate and highlight the new PEUGEOT emblem by blending perfectly into the rim.
The dimensions of the new PEUGEOT LANDTREK meet the standards of the transport market, with a length of 5.33m in the double cabin version and 5.39m in the single cabin, all with a width of 1.92m.
A contemporary and technological interior
The modern design of the dashboard of the new PEUGEOT LANDTREK is structured around a generous console and a large 10” HD central touch screen. The interface of the latter benefits from a completely new design*. Enriched with widgets*, it offers an optimized user experience, allowing direct and intuitive access to infotainment. In addition, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto compatibility is now wireless*. Under the central screen, the famous PEUGEOT piano keys (toggle switches) provide quick access to essential functions.
Driving pleasure and efficiency are optimised thanks to the new 7’’* digital instrument cluster and the steering wheel which, in addition to the new PEUGEOT emblem, includes the adaptive cruise control* controls.
EMOTION: COMFORT AND EFFICIENCY FOR ALL
For exclusively professional use or for combining business with pleasure, the new PEUGEOT LANDTREK meets all needs.
An optimal on-board experience
The passenger compartment has been the subject of great attention, incorporating many of the features present on other PEUGEOT models, for peaceful journeys in all driving and vehicle loading conditions.
At the front, you can choose between 2 independent seats with a central armrest and a 3-seater Multiflex bench seat. The latter is the result of PEUGEOT’s expertise in commercial vehicles. It offers the possibility of folding the central backrest to make room for an armrest/work table or of loading bulky objects up to 75 kg by folding the central backrest and that of the passenger.
The modularity of the rear bench seat of the double cab version is unique in the One ton Pick-up segment, with the possibility of folding the backrest in 60/40 or 100%. Once folded, the backrests can support an additional load. In addition, two Isofix attachments ensure safety and the securing of child seats.
The passenger compartment is particularly spacious, with a shoulder width of 1,550 mm and a minimum knee space of 50 mm in row 2, ensuring the comfort of 6 passengers (depending on version). Accessibility is facilitated by the presence of 7 grab handles in the passenger compartment.
The smallest objects will easily find their place on board with the 27 liters of cumulative storage.
Numerous customisation options
To adapt even more precisely and efficiently to all uses, the new PEUGEOT LANDTREK offers a range of 60 accessories: thermoformed bed protection, glazed hard-top, chrome roll bar, protective mats, running boards, etc.
The special series developed locally for each market also make it possible to meet the specific needs of customers in these countries and regions.
EXCELLENCE: TECHNOLOGY AT THE SERVICE OF PERFORMANCE
For work and leisure, the new PEUGEOT LANDTREK reaches a new level of performance.
A new Multijet Diesel engine enriches the range
The new PEUGEOT LANDTREK can now be equipped with the 2,184 cm3 4-cylinder turbo-diesel Multijet engine that develops 200 horsepower and offers a generous torque of 450 Nm. This unit, which guarantees high-level performance (see below) has proven its effectiveness on other models in the PEUGEOT range.
This new 2.2 l 200 hp Multijet Diesel engine can be combined with the new 8-speed ZF EAT8 automatic gearbox. Equipped with electronic control, for easier gear selection and efficient management of engine torque. A 6-speed manual gearbox is also available with this new engine.
To meet all needs and adapt to all markets, this new engine is added, depending on the country, to the 1.9 Diesel engine with 150 hp and 350 Nm of torque (associated with a 6-speed manual gearbox) and the 2.4 petrol engine with 210 hp and 320 Nm (with 6-speed manual or automatic gearbox).
Even more user-friendly and safer
The new PEUGEOT LANDTREK Diesel Multijet 2.2 l with 200 hp receives a new permanent 4-wheel drive transmission that ensures peace of mind, efficiency and safety whatever the driving conditions. To adapt to all terrains, it offers four driving modes: Normal, Sport, Snow and Sand.
For optimum user comfort, the new PEUGEOT LANDTREK Diesel Multijet 2.2l 200 hp benefits from power steering and a parking brake, both electric. Off-road driving is made easier by dedicated pages on the central screen displaying information on the status of the transmission and differential, the driving mode, the vehicle’s inclination, etc.
The safety equipment of the new PEUGEOT LANDTREK Diesel Multijet 2.2l 200 hp is reinforced with, as standard, the addition of an automatic emergency braking system (AEB)*, adaptive cruise control (ACC) with stop & go* and blind spot detection*. In addition, the rear brakes are equipped with discs* instead of drums.
The new PEUGEOT LANDTREK equipped with other engines retain their very comprehensive equipment, which includes in particular a 4X2 or 4X4 transmission that can be engaged with short gears, ESP, a hill descent control system, a lane departure warning system, towing assistance, etc.
The new PEUGEOT LANDTREK can have one to four cameras to facilitate maneuvers both in the city and off-road. The off-road camera (in the passenger rearview mirror) and the 360° panoramic view support the driver in overcoming obstacles or narrow passages.
Remarkable off-road capabilities
The new PEUGEOT LANDTREK is available with a 4X2, 4X4 or AWD transmission that can be engaged with short gears. On the 4X4 or AWD transmission, the rear differential is equipped with the eLocker system with automatic disengagement and provides increased traction when a wheel slips.
With its 4X4 or AWD transmission, the new PEUGEOT LANDTREK can tackle the most difficult conditions:
– Fording: 600 mm,
– Approach angle: 29° or 30° (depending on version),
– Departure angle: 27° or 26° (depending on version),
– Central angle: 25°,
