In 2022, Renault became the premium partner of Roland-Garros. For the 2023 edition, which will take place from May 22 to June 11, the brand prints its style and its logo in the tournament with in particular the presence of the Renault logo on the nets of the five main courts (Philippe-Chatrier, Suzanne-Lenglen, Simonne-Mathieu as well as courts n°7 and n°14). This partnership, reinforced in 2023 by new activations, is a perfect opportunity for the two brands to promote their common ambition: to make France shine around the world.
RENAULT 5 PROTOTYPE FAMOUS ROLAND-GARROS
In 2021, the Renault 5 Prototype show car made an impression with its very “Pop” yellow bodywork. And he continues to make waves with a new color! As part of the Renault brand’s partnership with Roland-Garros, the one which prefigures a 100% electric city figure is adorned with a new satin white metallic color.
The retrofuturistic vehicle also has new attributes such as the Crosses of Saint Andrew, the emblematic symbol of the Roland-Garros stadium, on the side grilles. A backlit Roland-Garros logo replaces the iconic number 5 which was affixed there.
And for a touch of elegance, chic and relaxed, the window surrounds are adorned with satin chrome and the rims with anodized blue.
Thus revisited, the Renault 5 Prototype show car foreshadows a Roland-Garros version of the future production model which will be revealed in 2024!

THE AMBASSADORS OF THE RENAULT LINEAGE INVOLVED
Roland-Garros is one of the major moments in world sport. A highly anticipated annual moment, when the eyes of the whole world are turned towards the Porte d’Auteuil for the only Grand Slam tournament on clay.
So for this second year of partnership, Renault will strengthen its commitment with this new film. The original music of “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year” aims to challenge and reflect the excitement and joy of life that accompany the opening of Roland-Garros.
Clay falls from the sky like snow, covering streets and cities around the world. From Europe to Asia to Latin America, amateur and professional players from around the world are celebrating the arrival of the 2023 Roland-Garros season.
The ambassadors of the Renault lineage also join the film to celebrate the event: Diede de Groot, Félix Auger-Aliassime and Luca Van Assche took part in the game.
GIVE ME 5: LETTS WILL BE WINNERS
Give Me 5 is the brand’s social responsibility program dedicated to younger generations and priority neighborhoods.
Renault is renewing the “Let Challenge” throughout the Roland-Garros tournament. Each time a service ball hits the top of the net before falling into the opposing court, Renault will allocate €100 to this initiative. During Roland-Garros 2022, €161,400 was raised, Renault increased the prize pool to €235,000 and thus enabled the creation of three tennis courts (in Lyon, Marseille and Grigny).
After the realization of the Give Me 5 program on these first three sites in France and thanks to the three ambassadors of the Renault lineage, the objective this year is to amplify the project, in France with Luca Van Assche and the Fête le Mur association .
The program is also deployed in several countries, in Togo with Félix Auger-Aliassime, in the Netherlands with Diede de Groot, in Argentina with Gabriela Sabatini, and in Brazil.
In addition to tennis, the Give Me 5 program is also developed to make music and judo accessible to young people from priority neighborhoods.
« We are particularly happy and proud to strengthen our partnership with Roland-Garros: 75% of the vehicle fleet is electrified and available for the tournament, the Renault logo displayed on the court net, our Give Me 5 social and solidarity project which accelerates with the support of our ambassadors and of course the exposure to the general public of Renault 5 Prototype Roland-Garros, 4EVER Trophy and New Espace E-Tech full hybrid. All this is proof that Renault is renewing itself and quickly. », underlines Arnaud Belloni, Global Marketing Director of the Renault brand.

And to enhance its sophisticated and technological design, fluorescent yellow touches appear on the roof rack straps, shield, shock absorber springs and wheel emblems.
