Orders are now open for the Jeep® Avenger 4xe and the exclusive The North Face Edition. These latest additions to the Jeep lineup showcase the brand’s commitment to offering cutting-edge electrified mobility while maintaining the legendary all-wheel-drive capability of Jeep®.
Eric Laforge, Head of Jeep Brand in Enlarged Europe, said: “The Jeep Avenger 4xe and The North Face Edition represent our goal of combining advanced technology with the adventurous spirit of Jeep. We are proud to introduce a model that not only delivers on performance and sustainability but also sets a new standard for versatility and style. As a brand in transition, constantly developing new electrified mobility solutions, and technologies satisfying the evolving consumers need, the Avenger 4xe and The North Face Edition represent the latest demonstration of our commitment”.
The Jeep Avenger 4xe blends the timeless appeal of Jeep design and capability with a more sustainable all-wheel-drive and state-of-the-art technology, delivering a driving experience that stands unrivaled. The Jeep and The North Face design teams have worked together over the past two years, bringing together different, but complementary, perspectives and skills. They have added lots of passion to create something that’s truly unique and innovative, elevating the concept of exploration and embodying both brands’ values.
Sustainable power redefined: meet the Jeep Avenger 4xe line-up
Building on the success of the petrol, electric and hybrid variants, the Jeep Avenger 4xe is set to become a new benchmark in the B-SUV segment. It offers an exclusive design, top-tier performance and embodies the rich legacy of Jeep® all-wheel drive.
The Avenger 4xe will be available in two trims: Upland and the exclusive The North Face Edition. This model represents a significant leap in Jeep’s legendary capability. Both trims are equipped with a groundbreaking powertrain that establishes a new standard for lightweight design and driving enjoyment, seamlessly blending off-road performance with sustainable mobility.
The Avenger 4xe powertrain stands out as the most powerful in the Avenger hybrid lineup, offering 36 hp and 25 Nm more torque than the e-Hybrid FWD, which results in faster acceleration and a higher top speed, while maintaining only a slight increase in CO2 emissions. Its innovative powertrain features a 48V hybrid powertrain with a 1.2 litre turbo engine producing 136 hp, paired with dual 21kW electric motors located and the front and rear. This combination delivers all-wheel-drive and rear and is coupled with a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, allowing the vehicle to drive in full electric mode at low speeds. It accelerates from zero to 62 mph time of 9.5 seconds and goes on to achieve a top speed of 120 mph.
In addition to power, the Avenger 4xe feature superior off-road performance, with improved off-road angles, an additional 10mm of ground clearance and the ability to wade through water up to 400mm deep. Standard M+S tyres provide reliable traction in various weather conditions, while optional All Terrain 3PMSF tyres are available for those seeking enhanced grip on more challenging surfaces.
The Avenger 4xe boasts optimised off-road angles, including a 22 degree approach, 21 degree breakover and 35 degree departure angles, coupled with a ground clearance of 210mm. These features, along with the increased water fording capacity, make the vehicle ideal for adventurers ready to explore the most rugged terrains. A key component of the power in the Avenger 4xe is the 22.7:1 reducer on the rear axle, delivering rear-wheel torque of 1,900 Nm, ensuring exceptional traction even on steep, challenging surfaces. The vehicle can handle slopes up to 40% on difficult terrain like gravel and maintain up to 20% traction when the front axle has little or no grip.
Equipped with an intelligent all-wheel-drive system, the Avenger 4xe ensures that 4×4 capabilities are readily available when needed. Depending on the drive mode selected, at low speeds (between -19 and +19 mph), permanent traction on all four wheels is maintained with a 50:50 torque split. At medium speeds (19 to 56 mph), the rear axle drive engages only when required, while at high speeds (above 56 mph), the rear e-motor disengages from the axle to optimise fuel consumption.
The Selec-Terrain system allows drivers to switch between modes tailored for specific driving conditions: Auto, providing all-wheel drive only when necessary, balancing performance and allowing the electric drive; Snow, enhancing traction and stability, and ensuring safety during winter travel; Sand & Mud, for uneven terrains, featuring specific gear ratios and traction control to maintain grip; Sport, unleashing the full potential of the 4xe system, including an E-boost function for rear-wheel torque to achieve a quicker acceleration.
The Avenger 4xe also includes the exclusive Jeep Multilink rear suspension system, a feature usually found on larger vehicles. This innovative system significantly enhances rear axle articulation, resulting in smoother rides on rough roads and providing superior comfort across challenging terrain.
The Upland is a one-of-a-kind design
The Jeep Avenger 4xe Upland stands out with its rugged, adventure-ready design. The exterior is equipped with with redesigned fog lights, that are placed higher and further outwards to improve visibility, roof rails and rear row hook for added practicality. Anti-scratch front and rear bumpers ensure the Avenger maintains its durability and pristine look even in rough conditions. The front bumper also features an exposed wheel design that improves safety in rocky terrains, while the elevated cladding protects key components like the number plate. The front lower grill and radar are shielded by reinforced bumpers, further increasing the vehicle’s robustness.
New optional bonnet stickers add both style and function by reducing sun glare, making it easier to navigate under bright conditions. With its striking green accents, 17-inch black alloy wheels, full LED reflector headlamps, body-coloured door handles and silver skid plates, the Upland model offers a bold yet refined aesthetic that sets it apart from other SUVs.
The Upland trim cabin is designed to be as functional as it is comfortable. The seats are crafted from durable, washable materials, offering twice the resistance of standard fabrics and making them perfect for outdoor enthusiasts. The interior also includes a black headliner and a silver-accented dashboard, with a dedicated 4xe logo, adding a touch of sophistication to the rugged design.
The Avenger 4xe Upland is equipped with an impressive array of technologies and driver assistance features including a 10.25-inch radio screen and matching 10.25-inch full digital cluster to offer seamless integration of infotainment and driving data. Adaptive Cruise Control, Hill Descent Control, a 180 degree rear camera, Telematic Box and Connected Services, an auto-dimming mirror, automatic high beam and keyless start are also included as standard.
Jeep Avenger 4xe The North Face Limited Edition
The Jeep Avenger 4xe The North Face Edition is the pinnacle of the Jeep Avenger range and brings together two iconic brands to create a vehicle perfect for modern explorers. Limited to 4,806 units, the height of Mont Blanc, this special edition features Summit Gold accents and a nature-inspired colour palette reflecting the shared commitment to the outdoors of both Jeep and The North Face.
Jeep and The North Face have also created a dedicated welcome kit for buyers – The North Face Explore Pack – including a tent, duffle bag, and water bottle, all adorned with the brands’ logos. The kit’s signature Summit Gold colour, a nod to The North Face’s legendary shade, is a distinctive and recognisable feature throughout the collaboration.
Summit Gold also plays a prominent role in the vehicle’s exterior design, complementing its nature-inspired palette of Storm, Volcano and Snow. These neutral mimetic tones, strategically designed to blend seamlessly with the natural environment, are enhanced by refined accents, such as 17-inch black alloy wheels with gold details, the signature Jeep seven-slot grille featuring topographic lines and glossy black rings and a Summit Gold skid plate. The antireflective hood sticker, another functional and aesthetic addition, bears the Summit Gold colour and The North Face logo, visually merging the two brands’ identities in a powerful tribute to their shared ethos of exploration.
The cabin is a celebration of the natural world. The dashboard incorporates topographic lines, with a silhouette of Mont Blanc and the inscription One of 4806 proudly displayed below the Avenger logo, emphasising the limited edition’s connection to the peak’s height. The custom floor mats are designed with 3D mountain ranges, offering passengers a literal foothold on nature.
The seats, a true hallmark of this collaboration, are crafted from durable, washable materials and accented with Summit Gold outline. They also include an exclusive design detail that echoes the famous The North Face puffer jackets, complete with elastic straps on the seatbacks, reminiscent of those on The North Face backpacks. The seat backs feature the brand’s logo, an unmistakable nod to the outdoor gear that has become The North Face signature, since it’s the only position visible when an athlete is climbing.
Adding to the sense of exclusivity and practicality, the Avenger 4xe The North Face Edition includes an array of advanced features such as navigation system, heated windscreen and heated front seats for maximum comfort during winter expeditions. The vehicle’s functional features further underscore its modern capability, with passive entry and a hands-free power liftgate making it easier to load up gear and head out on the next adventure.
