Unveiled at the Brussels Motor Show in January 2025, the New Mazda6e, the latest addition to the Mazda range in Europe, a fully electric 5-door sedan, combines sleek and elegant styling, a spacious interior coupled with a very high level of equipment, a choice of two battery packs, top-notch driving pleasure, next-generation connectivity, and a particularly attractive price starting at €42,900.
The New Mazda6e offers a choice of two engines to best suit each user’s driving preferences. It features a 68.8 kWh battery pack4 offering a range of up to 479 km5. Capable of gaining 235 km of range in 15 minutes on a DC outlet6, its electric motor develops 190 kW (258 hp). Those looking for longer journeys can opt for the Mazda6e Long Range with an 80 kWh battery7 offering up to 552 km of range and a 245 hp engine. In both configurations, the rear-wheel-drive sedan boasts 320 Nm of torque and can reach a top speed of 175 km/h.
The new Mazda6e boasts a coupe-like profile that highlights its elegant and dynamic character while retaining the versatility and comfort of a true sedan. Measuring 4.92 m in length, the Mazda6e is distinguished by its distinctive lighting signature, frameless doors with flush door handles, and an electric rear spoiler for an added touch of dynamism.
Inside, Mazda’s designers sought to emphasize the simplicity of Japanese aesthetics by drawing on the concept of “ma.” This Japanese philosophy places particular importance on the beauty of spaces, helping to create a balanced and serene atmosphere. Occupants enjoy generous leg and shoulder room and can fully enjoy the natural light provided by the panoramic roof. The ambient interior lighting offers up to 64 different colors.
The new Mazda6e features an ultra-modern infotainment system, marking a technological leap forward for Mazda. The 14.6″ central touchscreen provides access to communication and infotainment functions. It also displays navigation with an integrated trip planner. Voice recognition allows control of over a hundred components (from the navigation system, heating, and air conditioning) to the 14-speaker Sony audio system.
The Bluetooth key function via the app allows the Mazda6e to be accessed and started using a simple smartphone. It can even be shared with three other users simultaneously for predefined periods.
The new Mazda6e offers two trim levels. The Takumi trim comes standard with Beige or Black upholstery, while the Takumi Plus trim features an elegant Tan Nappa leather and suede interior.
The Mazda6e 258 hp 68.8 kWh8 in the Takumi trim starts at €42,900 and €44,900 in the Takumi Plus trim.
The Mazda6e 245 hp 80 kWh9 Long Range in the Takumi trim starts at €44,500 and €46,500 in the Takumi Plus trim.
