It’s a team that I particularly like, with which we have already had success, and returning as part of the Hypercar program is a superb opportunity. We are facing a new era of Endurance, with a tougher field than ever. It is extremely exciting to continue to write the History of Alpine and to compete with the biggest names in motorsport . We represent the Blues and we look forward to seeing the fans at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the other races of the championship.»
Matthieu Vaxiviere
A driver at the start in Mitjet and single-seaters, Matthieu began racing under the colors of Alpine in Endurance in 2021 and became Vice-FIA World Endurance Champion in 2022. All the energy and efforts undertaken throughout my career have been directed towards this objective of fighting in the premier category of Endurance. It’s a continuation of the years spent with the team and being able to participate in the development of the car also allowed me to share this new ambition with them. It’s fabulous to compete among the biggest brands and I’m proud to be part of this team. »
Charles Milesi
In just a few years, Charles Milesi has established himself as one of the brightest hopes in endurance racing. After a remarkable debut in single-seaters, the Frenchman then took up the challenge of LMP2, where he demonstrated the extent of his talent by winning the world title and the 24 Hours of Le Mans in his first season in 2021. After a campaign within the Richard Mille Racing Team operated by Signatech, Charles takes fourth place with Alpine in 2023 at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and third place on the podium at Monza, at only twenty-two years old.

Charles Milesi : « I am very happy to continue this adventure in the Alpine family for one more year in 2024, this time in a Hypercar. It’s a challenge for everyone with a new car and a team that is strengthening, both in terms of drivers, but also on the technical side. I had the chance to participate in the development of the car and it was very enriching to see the evolution of the project up close. There is still work to be done, but we have made good progress so far and are on the right track. Everyone is looking forward to the first race in Qatar and especially to seeing the Alpine hypercar on the starting grid for the 24 Hours of Le Mans. »
Ferdinand Habsburg
Ferdinand Habsburg, a new face for the brand, will also join the Alpine Hypercar program from 2024. His talent as well as his performances across different categories and championships that he has competed in in recent years have attracted the attention of Alpine for his new project in Endurance.
In 2021, the Austrian won the LMP2 world title and the 24 Hours of Le Mans with Charles Milesi and Robin Frijns in his first season in the FIA WEC. He then confirmed his talent by being crowned on the European scene the following year while achieving good results wherever he rode. After completing a successful season in 2023 in LMP2, he took direct control of the Alpine A424 during testing at Motorland, in order to accumulate the kilometers on the clock and familiarize himself with the car and the team.
Ferdinand Habsburg : « I am very happy with this challenge that presents itself to me with Alpine. It’s clearly a step above what I’ve experienced so far in my automotive career. From the day I signed with Alpine, I understood that the dream I had as a child had just come true. I immediately felt integrated into the team from Motorland, although the pressure was palpable for me. Starting with an endurance format during testing can be difficult to get to grips with in a new setup, but from the first few laps I felt confident. I can’t wait to see what the 2024 season has in store for us and I will give my best so as not to disappoint their confidence. »

It was natural for the Alpine teams of integrate this talented driver into his line-up.
Paul-Loup Chatin: « I am very happy to join Alpine in Hypercar for this 2024 season. I started my career in Endurance at Signatech Alpine in 2014 and it is a team that I have always followed. As a Frenchman, representing a French brand at the highest level of world motorsport is a privilege and especially at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, which is the most beautiful motor race in the world; This is what I get up for every morning. I sincerely thank the entire Alpine team for giving me this opportunity and I can’t wait for the season to start. »
Philippe Sinault, Team Principal : « The first thing that comes to mind is the word “pride”. I think we made the right choices and I have confidence in this team, which is ideal for us to make Alpine’s debut in Hypercar. There is an interesting complementarity between the loyal and known drivers of the team, who are unifying, and the new faces who have surprised us in recent years. Also, as a French team, we are particularly enthusiastic to have four French drivers in the team. We are less than 100 days away from the first race of the 2024 season, testing is almost coming to an end and the team is now complete: we can’t wait to see our beautiful A424s flown by these pilots.»
