A legend deserves to be celebrated. Alfa Romeo launches “33 Stradale Day”
- To celebrate “33”, Alfa Romeo launches “33 Stradale Day”. An iconic name, an extraordinary car, a story of automotive passion that deserve to be naturally included in the brand’s celebration calendar.
- Since the launch of the 33 Stradale project, this “double figure” has played a crucial and highly symbolic role. In 2023, the brand’s global commercial performance increased by 33% compared to 2022.
- For the first celebration, which will take place on March 3, Alfa Romeo Centro Stile publishes new exclusive images of the 33 Stradale in a Blu Reale (Royal Blue) livery, a body color that evokes its glorious past.
2023 will go down in history as the year of the 33 Stradale: a legend, a symbol embodying each of the values of one of the most emblematic sports brands in the history of the world automobile. The number 33 has become an identity mark and, in its honor, Alfa Romeo announces the launch of “33 Stradale Day”. From March 3, 2024, the objective of this anniversary will be to celebrate this day with enthusiasts from around the world and the some 250 clubs who share the same passion for the brand.
A symbolic date, 3/3, to recall the name of Alfa Romeo’s new “fuoriserie”, a true manifesto of the Italian brand’s potential – today and tomorrow – in terms of style and driving experience. Made in just 33 exclusive examples, for 33 fans of the brand, the new two-seater coupe combines heritage and future. It is produced using a unique artisanal process, with the highest quality standards and obsessive attention to detail.
33 is like a leitmotif for the brand. More of a unique fact than a rare coincidence, the number 33 is found in Alfa Romeo’s commercial results for 2023. At a global level, the brand has in fact grown by 33% compared to 2022. A unique coincidence, like a invitation to celebrate the revival of the 1960s icon.
But that’s not all. Going back in time, the number 33 takes on additional symbolic and commemorative value.
In June 2021 – 33 months ago – the 1929 Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 Super Sport won the historical re-enactment of the 1000 Miglia, a legendary competition that Enzo Ferrari himself described as “the most beautiful motor race in the world. »
Let’s go back a little further in history: 1933 was a year of prosperity for Alfa Romeo. It was the year when the Biscione brand dominated sporting competitions and when its coat of arms fascinated and conquered the hearts of all motor racing enthusiasts. The famous Nuvolari-Compagnoni duo wins the Mille Miglia at the wheel of the high-performance 8C 2300. At the wheel of the same car, Antonio Brivio dominates the Targa Florio, the oldest automobile endurance race in the world, which takes place in Sicily. Finally, still aboard this glorious racing car, the Nuvolari-Sommer duo won the 24 hours of Le Mans.
In short, this year, 33 is a magic number for Alfa Romeo and its Tribe. For the first “33 Stradale Day”, the Centro Stile Alfa Romeo has produced new official images showing the fuoriserie in the very exclusive and evocative Blu Reale livery, already available on the 33 from 1967. It is one of the three colors of bodywork offered, alongside the classic Rosso Alfa and the more sophisticated Rosso Villa d’Este.
