Škoda presents the new generation of Kodiaq RS: more power, more performance

• The new 2.0 TSI EVO 265 petrol engine is combined with all-wheel drive
• RS-specific exterior details: Glossy Black accents, illuminated grille, 20-inch wheels and two interior design choices
• The extensive standard equipment includes full Matrix LED headlights, progressive dynamic steering, DCC Plus (controlled suspension) and the Canton audio system.

The second generation of the Kodiaq RS, still available as a 5- or 7-seater, is presented with a significant increase in power. The new 2.0 TSI petrol engine now develops 265 hp. With its Glossy Black exterior design elements extending to the D-pillar, the most dynamic version of the Kodiaq is immediately recognizable as a member of the Škoda RS family. The specific exterior look is underlined by body-coloured bumpers and the illuminated radiator grille. The extensive standard equipment includes full Matrix LED headlights, progressive dynamic steering, DCC Plus (controlled suspension) and the Canton® sound system. Customers can choose between two interior design options. The Kodiaq RS will be available to order in France by the end of 2024.

Black exterior design elements, painted bumpers, illuminated grille

The numerous black exterior design elements are a characteristic feature of the Škoda RS models. For example, the second-generation Kodiaq RS features a radiator grille surround, exterior mirror caps, window surrounds, roof rails and the D-pillar in Glossy Black. The Kodiaq RS has specific front bumper inserts painted in black. Another exclusive exterior element is the illuminated radiator grille. As with all Škoda RS models, the rear features a reflector that extends across the entire width of the vehicle. The Škoda lettering and model designation on the tailgate are also black, while the rear bumper and side sills are painted in body colour. High-gloss aluminium exhaust tailpipes can be seen below the rear bumper. The new RS logo can be found on the tailgate and on the Škoda radiator grille. The standard 20-inch Elias alloy wheels have a polished black finish and are exclusive to the RS trim. The braking system is enhanced due to the car’s higher power output, and the seven-seater version is fitted with twin-piston calipers on the front axle. The front and rear brake discs are ventilated. In addition, the calipers are painted red, which emphasises the dynamic appearance of the alloy wheels. The Kodiaq RS is available with a choice of eight paint finishes: one solid colour and seven metallics, including the Kodiaq’s exclusive Havana Gold paint.

Matrix LED headlights, DCC Plus and Canton® audio system as standard

The Kodiaq RS comes with comprehensive standard equipment including Matrix LED headlights with animated “coming home” and “leaving home” function and corner lights, as well as full LED headlights including scrolling indicators, connected by a red decorative strip. The Kessy Advanced system, with opening/closing when approaching/removing, is also standard, as is the DCC Plus dynamic chassis control, including controlled suspension. DCC Plus offers up to 15 settings from comfortable to dynamic and continuously adjusts the shock absorbers. Driving Mode Select is also included as standard. It allows the driver to choose between Eco, Comfort, Normal, Sport, Individual and Snow modes, each with a specific electronic adjustment on the shock absorbers, and also offers an Off-Road mode. The long wheelbase ensures a spacious interior and the standard Canton® sound system provides a very good sound experience in the Škoda Kodiaq RS.

The new 2.0 TSI petrol engine delivers more power than its predecessor

The 2.0 TSI petrol engine in the new Kodiaq RS delivers 265 hp – an increase of +20 hp compared to its predecessor – and a maximum torque of 400 Nm. The engine complies with the EU 6 EB emissions standard. The distribution of torque to all four wheels is ensured by a 7-speed DSG gearbox as standard. Progressive Dynamic Steering is standard and enables particularly safe and agile driving. The Kodiaq RS is equipped with the Dynamic Sound Boost system which emphasises the engine sound.

Interior with two design selections to choose from and acoustic windows

In the interior, two exclusive design selections are available for the Kodiaq RS. The RS Lounge interior design includes sports seats with integrated headrests and upholstery in black suede/synthetic material with red stitching. Both front seats are electrically adjustable and have a memory function. To underline the dynamic look, the headliner is black. The dashboard, door trims and centre armrest are upholstered in black suede. The optional RS Suite interior design features upholstery in black perforated leather/synthetic material with red stitching. The Kodiaq RS is equipped with a 3-spoke multifunction sports steering wheel with red stitching and an RS badge. The aluminium-look pedals are included as standard, as are the front door sills with the “Kodiaq” lettering. Acoustic glazing on the front windows improves comfort inside the car thanks to improved soundproofing. Like other Kodiaq models, the Kodiaq RS benefits from a 10.25-inch Digital Cockpit and a 13-inch infotainment screen with GPS navigation as standard.
