Pagani Automobili is participating in the fifth edition of Motor Valley Fest from May 11 to 14 in Emilia-Romagna, a region that has hosted Horacio Pagani and his idea of creating a dream car for thirty years already.
As always, the event will take place in the heart of Modena, a UNESCO World Heritage city thanks to its artistic and architectural treasures. This evocative location fits well with the Pagani Hypercars, as they are both expressions of the Leonardesque principle of “art and science” on which the company’s philosophy and creations were founded.
Pagani Automobili will participate in the event with the Utopia and the Huayra Roadster BC.
The Utopia represents the third chapter in the history of the automobile brand and will be exhibited in the main courtyard of the ducal palace of Modena, seat of the military academy. This will be the first time that the general public will be able to admire the creation of Horacio Pagani and his team, after its official presentation last September in Milan during two events: the world premiere at the Teatro Lirico and the exhibition at the Museo Nazionale Scienza e Technologia Leonardo da Vinci.
Featuring a simple and unique design, the Pagani Hypercar expresses a contrasting and utopian idea that is romantically removed from current automobile conception. Produced in only 99 units, the first series of Utopia coupes has already been allocated to a small group of enthusiasts.
Atelier Pagani, the brand’s “sewing” workshop, also gave life to the second vehicle presented in the square in front of the castle of Formigine, a town neighboring Modena. This vehicle is the Huayra Roadster BC, whose initials represent Pagani Automobili’s first customer, Benny Caiola. It was designed as a road vehicle but also provides thrills on the track.
To provide customers with a reliable, safe and exciting vehicle, the Roadster BC has undergone numerous tests: more than 350,000 km of verification, including more than 45,000 km on the circuit and many more on test benches or during simulations.
The testing program ended in early September 2020 at the legendary Belgian circuit of Spa-Francorchamps, where the Huayra Roadster BC arrived in 2:23,081 minutes, a new record for nationally homologated road vehicles. A few months later, on the Vairano track, the Quattroruote team recorded a time of 1:07 681 minutes, the best time ever recorded at the Pavia racecourse.
Finally, for fans of Italian cars and design, it will be possible to visit the Museo Horacio Pagani and Atelier in San Cesario Sul Panaro on Saturday May 13 by appointment.
With the participation in Motor Valley Fest 2023, the festivities to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the brand continue and will culminate with an event open to the public from June 16 to 18 in Piazza Roma in the heart of Modena, where Pagani Automobili made its debut and wrote an unforgettable page in the history of Made-In-Italy.
